Here and now, I am simply trying to keep my creative alchemizing and evolving instinct alive amidst film industry demands, capitalism, and life. How I got here is that I am never alone and always a part of lineages. Some of my lineages have only been around for as long as I have, created in the modern intersections of mixed-family household, English-speaking communities in Morocco, privileged migration and the internet.

Some of my lineages are as old as the beginning of Islam through Muhammad (saws) and eventual ancestral migrations to Sahra, and many of my lineages I’ve had the honor of joining tributaries of, whose sources are powerful raging long long rivers of spirituality, healing, creativity, and resistance.

All of my work is about creating archive for the future. This isn't all of me, only part of me, that I am honored to share with you.
